আমি আবার বলিতেছি, সেই মহালগ্ন সমাগত হইলেই আমি তোমাদের পাশে গিয়া দাঁড়াইব, সেই অন্তিম সংগ্রামে তোমাদের সঙ্গে যোগ দিব।... ইহাও নিশ্চিত যে, সেই শেষ-যুদ্ধে ভারতীয় সেনা (ব্রিটিশ যাহা গড়িয়া তুলিয়াছে) একটা বড় অংশ গ্রহণ করিবে। [“I repeat once again that when the hour strikes, I shall be at your side ready to participate in the final struggle....In the last phase of the national struggle the Indian Army will have to play an important part.”―March 1. 1943]
