আচাৰ্য্য স্থার জগদীশচন্দ্ৰ বসু। RR Research Institute কেবল ডাঃ বসুর গৌরবের স্তম্ভ নহে, সমগ্ৰ জগতের গৌরব-স্তম্ভ। ডাঃ বসু। শুধু একজন শ্রেষ্ঠ বৈজ্ঞানিক নহেন, তিনি একজন উচ্চাঙ্গের বক্তা এবং আদর্শ শিক্ষক। তিনি যে বিষয় সম্বন্ধে বক্তৃতা করেন, শ্রোতার প্রাণে এমন ভাবে সে বিষয়টি বদ্ধমূল করিয়া দেন যে, শ্রোতা তাহ অনায়াসে বুঝিতে পারে। ১৯১১ খ্ৰীষ্টাব্দে ময়মনসিংহে বঙ্গীয় সাহিত্য-সম্মিলনের যে অধিবেশন হয়, ডাঃ বসু তাহার সভাপতি নিৰ্বাচিত হন। ১৯১৩ খ্ৰীষ্টাব্দে ডাঃ বসু পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশনে সাক্ষ্যপ্ৰদান করেন। সেই কমিশনে তিনি নিভীকভাবে সাক্ষ্যপ্ৰদানকালে বলেন-Regarding the question of limitations than exist in employment of Indians in the higher Service, I should like to give expression to an injustice which is very keenly felt. It is unfortunate that Indian graduates of European universities who have distinguished themselves in a remarkable manner do not for one reason or other find facilities for entering the higher educational Service.
