Professors of the
MEDICAL COLLEGE OF PENNSYLVANIA
founded for the purpose of instructing women
in the art of Medicine
BY THIS PARCHMENT CERTIFY THAT
Anandibai Joshee of the East Indies
has devoted herself amongst us to all those studies which
rightly and legitimately pertain to the
DECREE OF DOCTOR OF MEDICINE
and we have made and constituted her after being approved by Examination held before the Professors a DOCTOR in the art of healing and we have given and granted to her all the RIGHTS, IMMUNITIES, and PRIVILEGES pertaining to that degree both here and elsewhere.
