1 11 জানে না যেহেতুক বসন্ত ঋতুর গুণ কোকিলই অবগত । কাক জ্ঞাত নহে এব^ সি^হের বল হস্তীই বিদিত ইন্দুর জানে না ৷ A poet has said that a virtuous man can comprehend virtue; a wicked man cannot ; A strong man understands the signification of strength, a weak man does not, just as the cuckoo is alive to the beauties of summer, while a crow is not; and as the elephant is able to estimate the strength of a lion, which the rat cannot do. ১২৯ । মুনীনাঞ্চ মতিভুমঃ ॥ 129. Even the sages sometimes err. জিহ্বা টলতি ধীরস্য পাদষ্টলতি হস্তিনঃ । ভীমস্যাপি রণে ভঙ্গে মুনীনাঞ্চ মতিভুমঃ ॥ কদাচিৎ পণ্ডিতেরও জিহ্ টলে ও হস্তিরে পী টলে ভীমেরে রণে ভঙ্গ হয় ও মুনিরদিগেরও ভূম জন্মে। The tongue of the learned sometimes faulters; the foot of the elephant may stumble; even Bheem may be defeated in battle, and the sages may sometimes err. ১৩০ ৷ সুখস্যানন্তরণ দুঃখ- দুঃখস্যানন্তরণ সুখ৭২ ৷৷ 130. Sorrow succeeds joy, and joy sorrow. সুখস্যানন্তর" দুঃখ- দুঃখস্যানন্তরণ সুখ" । চক্রবৎ পরিবর্তন্তে দুঃখানি চ মুখানিচ। ইতি মহাভারতীয়" ॥
