( ని&సి ) pointed, that such Emigrant has not been induced to emigrate by any fraud, false nor unreasonable expectation, and is aware of the distance of Mauritlus from the place where he or she is about to emigrate, and such Agent shall explain the real advantages likely to be derived by such Emigrants from a remov al to Mauritius, at the same time cautioning such Emigrant against unreasonable and usiwarrantable expectations, and such Agent shall also ascertain that every such Emigrant is in good health, and not incapacitated from labour by old nge, bodily infirmity, or disease 4th It shall not be lawful to ship on board of anv Ship or Wessel carrying Emigrants from India to Mauritius, any number of Passengers exceeding the proportion of one person for every two Tons of the Registered burthen of such Ship or Wessel, and no such ship or vessel carrying Emigrants, and having more than one Deck, shall have less than the height of six feet at the least between Decks, and in case such Shup or Wessel shall have only one Deck, a Platform shall be laid beneath such Deck, und in such manner as to afford a space of the height of six feet at the least, and that such Platform shall not be so laid as that the lower beams shall project above the same, and that no such Ship or Vessel shall have more than two tlers of berths, and that no such Ship or Wessel shall carry Passengers on any such voyage to Mau11ttus unless there shall be an interval of six inches at least between the Deck or Plutsorm, and the floor of the lower tier throughout the whole extent the roof, and whatever may be the Tonnage of the Ship or Wessel, no greater number of Passengers shall be taken on board of such Ship or Wessel than shall be after the rate of one such person for every twelve superficial feet of the lower Deck or Platform, unoccupied by goods or stores, not being the personal luggage of such persons 5th In the computation of the number of Passengers within the meaning of these Regulations, two childr, n under the age of ten years, shall be considered as equal to and shall be reckoned as one pi rson only 6th "I here shall be actually laden and on board of every Ship or Vessel bringing Emigrants into Mauritius at the time of departure of such Ship or Wussel from the port or place at which such Labour rs shall be embarked good and wholesome Provisions for the use and consumption of the said Passengers over and above the victualling of the crew to the amount or in the proportion following, that is to say, a supply of water to the amount of five gallons to every week of the computed voyage for every Passenger on board such Shup or Wessel, such water being carried in Tanks or sweet Casks and a supply of Rice, Bread, Biscuit, Flour, Oatmeal, or Blead Stuffs, to the amount of seven pounds weight to every week of the computed voyage for cvery such Passenger Provided always that when any such Ship or Vessel shall be destined to call at a port or place in the course of her voy [Government Gazette, 19th July, 1842) দেশান্তৰ গমনকাৰি ব্যক্তিকে ছল চক্রান্তে কিম্বা মিথ্য ও বড় অশিবি দ্বাৰা দেশান্তবে গমনের প্রবোধ দেওয় যায় নাহি এবং ঐ পুরুষ বা স্ত্রী যে স্থানছষ্টতে গমন কবিতে উদ্যত আছে সেই স্থানহইতে মরিচ উপদ্বীপ কত দুব ইহা নিস্তান্ত অবগত অাছে। এবং ঐ গমনকারি ব্যক্তিবদেব মরিচ উপদ্বীপে গমনে যে ২ উপকাৰ নি তাপ্ত হইতে পারে তাহ ঐ এজেন্ট সাহেব তাহারদিগ কে বুঝাইয় দিবেন এবং ঐ গমনকারি ব্যক্তিৰদিগকে যুক্তি বিকদ্ধ এবং অন্যায় প্রত্যাশ কৰিতে নিবারণ কৰি বেন । এবং ঐ গমনকাৰি ব্যক্তি বিলক্ষণ সুস্থ এব৯ বান্ধক্যপ্রযুক্ত কিম্বা শারীৰিক দৌৰ্ব্বল্য অথবা পীড়াপ্র যুক্ত পরিশ্রম কবিতে অক্ষম নহে ইহা তিনি নিশ্চয় অবগত হইবেন ইতি । ৪ । এবং ভারতবর্ষ হইতে মৰিচ উপদ্বীপে গমনকারি ব্যক্তিরদিগকে লইয়! যাইবাব নিমিৰ যে জাহাজ ভাড়া হয় ঐ জাহাজেৰ ৰেজিষ্টৰীহওয়া পরিমাণস্কৃষ্টে দুই২ টনেৰ হিসাবে এক২ ব্যক্তিৰ অধিক তাহাঙ্গে লইয়। যাইতে নিষেধ হইল । এবং গমনকাবি ব্যক্তিৰদিগকে লষ্টয় যাইবার নিমিৰ যে প্রত্যেক জাহাজ নিযুক্ত হয় সেই জাহাজে যদি এক তালার অধিক থাকে তবে দুই তালার মধ্যে ছয় ফুট অর্থাৎ চারি হাতেব কম ব্যবধান থাকি বেক না। এবং যদি ঐ জাহাজের কেবল এক ভালা থাকে তবে ঐ তালার পীচে এক কাষ্ঠেব মেজ্যা করিতে হই বেক এবং ঐ মেজ্যা অবধি তালাপৰ্য্যন্ত ছয় ফুটেৰ কম ব্যবধান থাকিবেক না এব^ ঐ মেজ্য। এমত তৈয়াব করি তে হুইবেক না যে তাহাব ভালাব কড়িকাষ্ঠ তাছার উপর রাখা যায় । এবং এই মত্ত কোন জাহাঞ্জে শুইবার নিমৰ দুই থাক মাচানেব অধিক থাকিবেক না এল৭ জাহাজের নীচের ভাল অথবা মেজ্যাৰ উপর যে নীচস্থ থাক থাকে সেই থাক এবং ঐ মেজ্য কিম্বা তালার মধ্যে সমস্ত জাহাজ ব্যাপিয় ছয় বুকল ব্যবধান না থাকিলে কোন জাহাজ চড়নদারেরদিগকে মবিচ উপদ্বীপে লইয়। যাইতে পারি বেক না । এবং জাহাজেৰ যত পৰিমাণ হউক তাহাৰ নীচেব তালা অথবা মেজার চতুবসু বাবে ফুট প্রত্যেক গমনকাবি ব্যক্তির নিমিত্ত নির্দিষ্ট কবিতে চটবেক এবণ, সেই স্থানের মধ্যে ঐ চড়নদার ব্যক্তির লওষাঙ্গেমা দ্রব্য ছাড়া কোন মাল কি দ্রব্যাদি থাকিবেক না এবং ঐ বাবে ফুট হিসাব করিয়া যত চড়নদাবেব স্থান হয় তাহার অ ধিক চড়নদাব সেই জাহাজে যাইবেক না ইতি । ৫ । এই মিয়মেব অর্থের মধ্যে চড়মদাবেরদের সংখ্যা হিসাবকৰণেতে দশ বৎসবেৰ নুন্ন দুই বালক এক পুকষেব তুল্য গণ্য করা যাইবেক ইতি। ৬। যে জাহাজ এইরূপে দেশাস্তব গমনকাবি ব্যক্তিব দিগকে মবিচ উপদ্বীপে লইয়া যায যে বন্দব বা স্থানে ঐ মজুবেবী জাহাজে আরোহণ কৰে সেন্ট বন্দব বস্থান হইতে ঐ জাহাজেব বস্তুচ ওনেৰ সময়ে জাহাঙ্গীয় ব্যক্তির দেৰ আহাবের অতিরিক্ত চড়নজারেবদের ব্যবহাৰ ৫ ব্যয়েব কাবণ নীচের লিখিত নিরিখানুসারে উত্তম এবং স্বাস্থ্যজনক আহাৰীয় দ্রব্য ঐ জাহাঞ্জে দিতে হুইবেক অর্থাৎ ঐ জাহাজের সমুদ্রপথে থাকনেব আন্দঞ্জিী সময় হিসাব কবিয়া ঐ জাহাঞ্জের প্রত্যেক চড়নদারের নিষিক্ত প্রত্যেক সপ্তাহে পাচ২ গ্যালন অর্থাৎ কুড়ি সেব করিয়া জন্স এবং ঐ জল জলাশয়েতে অথবা উত্তম পীপাচে রং খিতে হইবেক এবং আন্দাঙ্গী সমুদ্রপথে থাকনের প্রত্যেক সপ্তাহের হিসারে প্রত্যেক চডনদীবেব নিমিন্ত সাত পৌণ্ড অর্থাৎ সাড়ে তিন সেরেব চিসাবে চাউল কি রুটি অথবা বিষ্ণকুট কি গোম কিম্ব ওটমিল অথবা অন্য অ৷ হারীয় দুবা জাহাঙ্গে লইতে হইবেক । কিন্তু যদি ঐ জা হাঞ্জেব পথিমধ্যে কোন বন্দব বা স্থানে আপনাৰ ফুঙ্গেৰ পীপ পূর্ণ কবিবাব নিমিত্ত লাগান বরিবাব কপি হয়
