_ কলিকাতা মঙ্গলবাব ১৮৪৬ সাল ৩১ মাচ । A C T S FORT WILLIAM HOMF I) EPARTMENT LE,G ISLATIVE, Тни 22p Novгмвнп, 1845 The following Act is brought up before the Le gislative Council this day —Resolved—1hat the Rule4 requiring that all Acts shall he brought up for second readıng ın two months or ın tlıree montlıs from the date of the first reading be suspended in respect to the following Proposed Act and that it be at once passed into Law—thu as ent of the Richt Honourable the Governor General of India having been obtained and recorded Act No XXIII of 18 l An Act to enable she Union Bank of Calcutta to sue and to be sued in the name of the Sevretum y or of the Treasurer of the said Company Whereas by and under a certain Deed of Part nership or Association or an Agreement in writing of that nature bearing date the 1st day of August 1889, several persons have formed themselves into a eertain Company or Co partnership by the name of “ The Union Bank of Calcutta by which said Deed or Agreement it was and is provided (amongst other things) that the business of the said Com pany should consist in issuing Promissory Notes payable to bearer on demand at their Office in Calcutta for any sum of not less than Eight Com pany s Rupees, and not exceeding One Thousand Company s Rupees and Bills of Exchange payable at such time after date or sight as the Directors for the time being should fix to parties who should require the same and deposit the amount of such Bills un the said Bank which deposit should bear interest at such rate as the Directors should fix, and also in [Goternment Gazette, 31st March, 1846] আাক্টন । _ ফোর্চ ডলিয়ম । দেশীয় ডিপার্টমেটে । লেজিসলেটিব । টঙ্গবেঞ্জী ১৮৪৫ সাল ২১ নবেম্বব । নীচের লিখিত আইন শ্যগ্রন্থাপক কৌন্সেলে অদ্য উপস্থিত্ত করা গেল । তাছাত্তে নিৰ্দ্ধাবণ কষ্টল যে সকল আইন প্রথমবাৰ পাঠ হওনেৰ তাৰিখেৰ পৰ লুই কি তিন মাসেবি পব দ্বিতীয়বাব পাঠ হওনেব নিমিত্ত্বে উপস্থিত কৰণেৰ যে বিধান আছে সেই বিধান নীচের লিখিত প্রস্তাবিত অষ্টিমের বিষয়ে স্থগিত হয় এব^ ভাক একেবাবে আইনস্বরূপ জারী হয় । তদ্বিষয়ে ভাৰতবর্ষেন খ্ৰীযুত রাইট অনববিল গবরনর জেনবল বাহাদুর সমতি দিয়াছেন এবং ঐ সমতিপত্র কৌন্সেলের বহীতে অর্পণ হইয়াছে । ইঙ্গ rবঞ্জী ১৮৪৫ সাল ২৩ আষ্টন । কলিকাভাস্থ ইউনিয়ন ব্যাঙ্কে আপনাব সেক্রেটারী खप्रथद थांज्रांश्रीद नfcयद छांव1 मानि” छद्भिरङ ४ीय°५ অন্যেবদিগকে ঐ ব্যাঙ্কেৰ সেক্রেটাবী অথব1 খাজাঞ্চীর নামে নালিশ কবিতে ক্ষমতা দে ৪নের আইন । যেহেতুক ১৮৩৯ সালের ১ আগষ্ট তারিখের একটা জ৭শিপত্র অথবা সমাঞ্জপত্র কি সেই প্রকাৰ লিখিত একবারনামার ছবি কএক ব্যক্তি “ কলিকাতাস্থ ইউনিয়ন ব্যাঙ্ক নামে এক কোপানি অথব1 অRশিজ্ঞ স্থাপন কবিয়াছেন এবং ঐ পত্র অথবা একবাবে যেমন অন্যান্য বিষয়েৰ ধার্য্য কইসে তেমনি ইহাও নিৰ্দ্ধার্য্য হইল ও নি প্তার্ষ্য আছে যে উক্ত কোম্পানিব এই ব্যবসা হইবেক বিশেষতঃ ৮১ টাকার নু্যন না হয় এবং ১ ১ টাকাৰ অধিক না হয় এই মত যে প্রোমিসরি নোটের টাকা কলিকাতায় তাহারাদেব দফবে দ। ৫য় হইলে বাহককে দিতে হইবেক এইমত্ত নোট চালা ৪া এবং যে ব্যকিবা টাকা ব্যাঙ্কে আমানগু, কলিয়া বিল অফ একসচেঞ্জ চাহেন র্তাহারদিগকে তৎকালীন ডৈবেকটর্সেৰ তাৰিখ বা দর্শ নেব পৰ যে মুদৎ ধাৰ্য্য কবেন সেই যুদন্তে ঐ ৱিল অফ একসচেঞ্জ দেওন এই জামানভী টাকাব সুদ ড়ৈ রেকটর্সের দ্বারা ধার্থ্যহওয়া হার অনুসারে চলিবেক এবং যে বিল অথবা প্রোমিসৰি নোটের ডিসকেীট করণের তারিখ অবধি চারি মাসেৰ অধিক মুন্দহ নাই
