The following Draft of a proposed Act was rend in Council for the first time on the 13th of March 1847: Q Act No. or 1847. An Act for amending Act XXX. of 1836. It is hereby enacted, that within the Territories subject to the Government of the East India Company whenever any Court not included under the provisions of Act XXIV. of 1843, shall sentence any offender to in prisoninent for life under the provisions of Act XXX. of 1836, it shall at the same time sentence such oslender to transportation beyond bea for life, unless there should be special reasons inducing the Coult to think such prisoner not a proper subject for transportation, which special reasons the Court is hereby directed to record. Ordered, that the Draft now read be published "for general information. 11th January, 1847.-An application to sue in formâ pauperis rejected, in consequence of contradictory statements made by tho applicant, in re [Government Gazette, 23d March, 1847.] sصيجيصمسعويضهس. আইনের মুসাবিদ । ফোর্ট উলিয়ম । দেশীয় ডিপার্টমেন্ট । লেজিসলেটিব । ইঙ্গবেঞ্জী ১৮৪৭ সাল ১৩ মার্চ। প্রস্তাৰিত আইনের নীচের লিখিত মুসাবিদ ইজরেী ১৮৪৭ সালের ১৩ মার্চ তারিখে হজুর কৌন্সেলে প্রথমবfর পাঠ করা গেল । इत्रप्ङ्गडी २v8१ नाल-श्रांकुछ । ১৮৩৬ সালের ৩০ আইন সAশোধনের আইন । ইহাতে হুকুম হইল যে কোম্পানি বাহাদুরের শাসিভ দেশের মধ্যে যখন ১৮৪৩ সালের ২৪ আইনের বিধানের অসম্পৰ্কীয় কোন আদালত ১৮৩৬ সালের ৩• আইনের বিধিক্রমে কোন অপরাধিকে যাবজ্জীবন কয়েদের দণ্ডের হুকুম দেন তখন ঐ অপরাধি ব্যক্তিকে দ্বীপান্তর প্রেরণের উপযুক্ত পাত্র বোধ না করিবার ৮িশেষ কারণ না থাকিলে ঐ আদালত ঐ অপরাধিকে যাবজ্জীবন দ্বীপান্তর প্রেরণের হুকুম দিবেন এব^ এ বিশেষ কারণ রোযদাদের মধ্যে লিখিতে ঐ আদালতকে ইহার দ্বারা হুকুম দেওয়া গেল । হুকুম হইল যে এক্ষণে পাঠকরা লোককে জানাইবার নিমিত্তে প্রকাশ হয় । হুকুম হইল যে আগামি জুন মাসের ১৩ তারিখের পর ভবিতবর্ষের ব্যবস্থাপক কৌন্সেলের যে প্রথম বৈঠক হয় তাহাতে এই মুসাবিদা পুনরায় বিবেচনা করা যায় । জি এ বুশবি । ভারতবর্ষের গবর্ণমেন্টের সেক্রেটারী । JoHN C.
