Mr. Dorin's objections, it will be observed, have reference especially to the Magistrate's Office, he thinks that the Judge's Treasuries might be abolished without difficulty. But it appears that in all the districts where there are no Civil Courts, as the I)eputy Collectors, and North and South Cuttack, the Collector's Treasurer is actually the Treasurer of the Magistrate, and the same system is said to obtain in all the districts of the Patna Division. U'nder these circumstances the Board cannot doubt the perfect feasibility of Mr. Grant's suggestion—they recommend that it be carried into effect, and that all the separate Treasuries of Judges, Magistrates, and Salt Agents be at once abolished.
