( ७११ ) o fully applied to public use, and which are not the | আইনমতে সাধারণের ব্যবহার হইতেছে এবং কোন property of any private person or'persons, togethor with all buildings, engines, works, materials and things therewith connected existing in the said Town at the time of the passing of this Act, or which hereafter shall at any time be constructed and made therein, whether constructed at the cost of the said Commissioners or otherwise, and the entire management and controul over the same, subject to the provisions hereinafter contained, shall be the property of, and are hereby vested in the said Commissioners as such Trustees as aforesaid. XVI. And it is enacted, that the said Commissioners shall cause to be constructed and made such and so many sewers and drains, and such and so muny reservoirs, canals, aqueducts, engines and other works, and to he laid such and so many water pipes as shall in the opinion of the said Commissioners be necessary and proper for the effectual draining and cleansing of the whole of the Town aforesaid, and for tho properly flushing and cleansing out such sewers in and under or across all or any of the streets and ways, whether dedicated to the public use or mot, roads and other places within the said Town, and if needful through and across all under-ground cellars and vaults which they may find under any of the said streets, ways, roads or places, doing as little damage as may be, and also to cause such and so many rings and openings to be made or left in the sides of the said sewers as will be sufficient for the making or branching any drain or drains from any or all of the houses built, and which may probably be built adjoining or near thereto into any of the said sewers as the said Commissioners shall think fit, mecessary and expedieut for that purpose ; and ın case it shall be found necessary for completing any of the aforosaud works to build, carry or continue the same in, into or through any enclosed lands or other place not being a public way, it shall be lawful for the said Commissioners to build, carry or continue the same in, into or through the said lands or other places accordingly, and the said Coinmissioners may and shall cause such sewers to com municate with and empty themselves into any public river, stream, carital or water course, or to cause the refuse from such sewers to be conveyed by an appropriate channel to the most convenient site for its deposit, collection and sale, and its application as manure for agricultural purposes or otherwise as they shall deem most expedient, but so that the same shall in no case become a public nuisance or annoyance to the neighbourhood, and all such sewers, water courses, canals, reservoirs and other works and premises shall be the property of and are hereby vested in the said Commissioners, and shall be at all times under the care, control and management of the said Columissioners and of their Surveyor and Officers. ১৬ ধারা । এবং ইহাতে হুকুম হইল যে উক্ত সমস্ত শহরের কর্মণ্যরূপে নরদম করণার্থ এবং শহর পরিষ্কার রাখণার্থ ষে প্রকার এবং যত নরদম ও মোরী এব° যে প্রকার ও যত জলাশয় ও খাল ও জলপথ ও কল ও অন্যান্য নির্মিত কর্ম উক্ত কমিসানরেরদের বিবেচনায় আবশ্যক ও উচিত বোধ হয় তাহা তাহার নির্মাণ করাইবেন । এবং ঐ নরদমাতে উপযুক্তরূপে জলসেচনের জন্যে ও তাহ। পরিযকার করণের জন্যে যে প্রকার ও যত জলের নালার অবিশ্যক হয় তাহা উত্তর শহরের রাস্তু ও পথ ও অন্য স্থানে ( তাক সরকায়ী হউক বা না হউক ) তাহাতে ও ভাঙ্গার নীচে ও তাচার উপর এবং আবশ্যক হইলে উক্ত রাস্থা ও পথ ৪ মার্গ ও স্থানের নীচে যে সকল মাটির ভিতরে কুটরী ও খিলান থাকে তাহার মধ্য দিন ও তাহার উপর পত্তন কবাষ্টবেন কিন্তু যাহাতে অলপ ক্ষতি হয় এমভ উদ্যোগ করিলেন। এবং ঐ নরদমার লাগাও অথবা তাহার নিকটে যে কোন অথবা যে সকল ঘর গাথা অrছে এবং গাঁথি। যাইলেক সেই ঘর অবধি উক্ত কোন নরদমাপর্ষrঙ্ক কে‘ন মোরী বা মোয়ীসকল কণাইতে উক্ত নরদমার পাশ্বে যে প্রকার ও যত্ত গোলাকুষ্ঠি স্থান ও ছিদ্র রাখণের আবশ্যক হয় তাহা করিভে অগলা বাথিতে পারেন । এবং উক্ত কোন এমরিথ সমাপ্ত করিবার জন্যে যদি ঐ এমরিৎ কোন ঘেরা ভূমিতে অথবা অন্য যে স্থানে সরকারী রাস্ত না থাকে এমত স্থানে ব৷ তাছার মধ্যে বা তাহ দিম। ঐ এমরিৎ গাখিতে এা তাছার অনবৰত নির্মাণ কবিতে আবশ্যক বোধ হয় তবে ঐ কমিস্যনরেরা উক্ত ভূমিতে বা অন্য স্থামে বা তাহার মধ্যে কি তাহ দিয়া ঐ এমারৎ গাথিতে এবং অনবরত নির্মাণ করিতে পারেন এবং উক্ত কমিসানরেরা এমত উপাঘ কবিতে পারেন ও করিলেন যে ঐ নরদম কোন নদী বা স্রোত কি খাল অথবা জলপথের সঙ্গে সAয়োগ হয় এবং ঐ নরদমার মধ্যস্থ দ্রব্য ঐ নদীপ্রভৃতির মধ্যে *८ज़ यथंद1 में नहन यांह नकल शम्नला हfश्व* 8 न^2ङ করণ ও বিক্রয় করণ এবং কুষি কর্মের জন্যে বা প্রকার। স্বরে উiহাবদের ষেকপ সুবিবেচনা হয সারস্বরূপ তাঙ্ক। কর্মে আনিবার জন্যে ষে স্থান অতিসুগম ছয় সেই স্থানে উপযুক্ত প্রণালী দিয়া সেন্ট সকল ময়লা লইয়া যাওয়া যায় কিম্ব তাহারা সাবধান করিবেন যে ঐ ময়লা তাতার চতুর্দিকৃষ্ণ স্থানে কোন অপকারক বা ক্ষতিজনক না হয়। এব^ ঐ সকল নরদম ও জলপথ ও খাল ও জলাশয় এব^ অন্য এমারস্থ ও স্থান উক্ত কমিস্যনরেরদের সম্পঞ্জি হ ইলেক এন৭ ওঁrহরিদের প্রতি ইহার দ্বারা অপণ হক্টল এব^ তাহা সকল সমঘে উক্ত কমিস্যানরেরঙ্গের এবং র্তাহারদের সরবেযর ও উrচরিদের কর্মকারকেরদের জিমায় ও কর্তৃতের ও অধীনে থাকিবেক ইতি । Վեր (ইহার অবশিষ্ট আগামিতে প্রকাশ হইবেক ।)
