The 10th January 1876 s—The Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal has been pleased to direct that, from the 1st April 1876, a new sub-division shall be formed in the sillah of Rajshahye, to be called the Nooroolabad sub-division, the head-quarters of which will be at Nooroolabad, on the bank of the river Atraie, and that a new thana (to be named the Panchoopoor thana) shall be created at Panchoopoor in the said sub-division. 2. The sub-division shall consist of the undermentioned four entire thanas (Manda Bandaiekhada, Bagmara, and Panchoopoor) : - - கக்க Lo- -

Thanas, Boundaries. 1. Manda ... } | As defined in the Bengal Government Notification dated 2. Bandaiekhada } 24th February 1875, and published in the Călcutta Gasette 3. Bagmara of the 10th March following. T On the north, the zillah boundary, from the village of Ghatagon to that of Chuk Kootub. Whence— On the west, by thanas Bandaiekhada and Bagmara to the village of Boaleea Boozoorg. Thence— On the south, the river Atraie, to the village of Beesa ; then the following villages, viz., Beesa, Setturonna, and Nundeergram. Thence— | On the east, the following villages, viz.
