No. 61.—With reference to the orders marginally noted, Baboo Nophur Chunder Bose, Sub-Overseer, First Grade, Western Sone Survey Division, ceased to belong to the l’ublic Works Department from the forenoon of the 18th December last. No. 62.-Transfer.—Baboo Sreedhone Chunder Sen, Overseer, First Grade, from the lastern Sone to the 13uxar Division, which he joincid on the afternoon of the 30th ultimo. No. 63.-Notifications.—With reference to the orders marginally noted, the undermentioned officers and subordinates left the High Level Canal Division of the Gunduk Circle to join the South-Western Xircle on the dates specified against their names, viz.— No. 2ß, datel 21st January 187U. Douglas, Assistant Engineer, Second Grade, Gunduk Survey Division, availed himself of the privilege leave gran'ed in the orders marginally noted on the af: crimoon of the 31st January 187(5. No. 66.—Leave.—Mr. T. Gibson, Assistant Tongineer, Second Grade, Arrah Division, is grant cd special leave for six months, under Scotion l ; of the Civil Leave C, de, with effect from such datc after the 15th April mext as he may avail himself of the same. No. 38, dat o.l 27th January 1870. No. 67.—Declarations.--Whercas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken up by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for a distributary channel, to be called the Panmary Distributary, to leave the Arrah Canal in mouzah lishumpura, pergunnah Pira, zillah Shahabad, and to terminate at a point in mouzah Pammary, pergunnah Nanaur, zillah Shahabad, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a strip of land measuring 5 miles and 3,960 scot in length, and varying from 50 to 160 feet in width, more or less, and containing 86 acres 3 roods 1855 poles, more or less, is required within the aforesaid zillah Shahabad. The said strip of land is for the most part situated in mouzahs Bishunpur, Imadpur, Meap Khard, Sahiara, Sondna, Soond Sara, Khûtalia, Sakrita Kalan, Mcap Kalan, and Sıkrahta Khard in pergunnah Pira, and Panmary in pergunnah Nanatır. The land pians of the said distributary may be scen in the Oslice of the 12xecutive Engineer, Arrah Division, at Arrain, any day between the hours of 10 A.M. and 4 p.m., Suudny and holidays exceptcd. Ti,is locclaration is made under the provisions of Scotion G of Act X of 1870 of the Government of Iudia to all wilom it may concer.). No. (S.—Whereas it appears to thc Licutenant-Governor of Iłcngal that land is required to be taken up by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for a distributary channel, to be called the 1)ilya Distributary, to leave the Arrah Canal in mouzah Bahuara, pergunmah Nanaur, and to terminate at a point in mouzah Dilya, pergunnah Nanaur, zillah Saahabad, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a strip of land measuring 3 miles and 3,960 sect in length, and varying from 100 to 160 feet in width, inore or less, aud containing 50 acres 2 roods and 37 poles of land, more or less, is required within the aforesaid zilluli of Shahabud.
