These bye-laws shall not, except in special cases, apply to any caw-house in which less than five cows are kept without the express orders ef the Uommissiquers. 14. Every license-holder shall be bound to keep hung up in a conspicuous place in his cow-shed such license and to show it to any legally authorised person requiring its production, Rule 15.—“Every person occupying a cow-shed shall give notice in writing within 24 hours to the Inspect or of the ward in which the cow-house, etc., is situated of the existence of any contagious or infectious or dangerous disease amongst his cows, and shall desvroy or allow to be destroyed all milk in his cow-shed which there shall be reason to think has been liable to contamination. The Inspector of the ward, on receiving information of the existence of any contagious or infectious disease in any cow-house, shall give intimation of the fact to the Police Inspector of the section for the purpose of segregating the diseased animals; it shall be the duty of the person occupying the cow-shed to get the cow-house cleansed, disinfected aad lumewashed.” Rule 16.-“No person suffering from any loathsome, contagious or infectious disease shall live in or enter any cow-imouse in which milch-cows or milch-buffaloes are kept or shall take any part in the conduct of the trade or business of cow-keeper or purveyor of milk ; and every person affected with such disease in any cow-house shall remove or shall be removed immediately therefrom, and the part of the cow-house in which the sick person shall have been shall be thoroughly oleansed, disinfected aud limewashed.” H.
