Donough, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, in charge of the Jamalpore division of the Mymensingh district, is allowed leave for three months, under the rules in Chapter W II and under Section 1-3 of the Civil ideave Code. The 17th June 1877.-Pending the appoint ment of an officer by the Government of India to the office of Agent to the Governor-General at Moorshedabad, Mr. G. J. S. Hodgkinson is appointed to have temporary charge of that office, in addition to his own duties as Officiating Magistrate and Collector of Moorshedabad. The 18th June #77–In supersession of the orders of the 26th March last, published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 4th April following, Mr. S. C. Dayley, c.s.l., is appointed to be a Secretary to the Government of Bengal, vice Ms. A. Rivers Thompson, with effect from the 1st May 1877. ,* Mr. Bayley acted as a Secretary from the afternoon of the 16th April 1877 to the 30th idcm. 粤 The following appointments, which were notified in the Calcutta Gazette of the 4th April last, under dates the 26th March and 2nd April 1877, will take effect from the 1st May 1877 :- ● Mr. R. L. Mangles, v.c., to be Commissioner of the Bhagulpore Division. F. H. Pellew to be a Magistrate and Collector of the First Grade.
