The 3rd July 1877.--It is hereby notified that under Section 18 of the Civil Courts' Act VI of 1871 the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to sanction the establishment of a Moonsif's Court at Banka, the head-quarters of the sub-division of that name, in the district of Bhagulpore. The jurisdiction of the Moonsif will comprise the thanas of Banka, Kutooreea, and Umurpore, and will be conterminous with the criminal jurisdiction of the Banka sub-division as laid down in the Notification of Government dated the 2nd June 1869, which was published at pages 1658 to 1668 of the Calcutta Gazette of the 8th September 1869. No. 191.—Transfer.—Baboo Dino Nath Sen, Executive Engineer (temporary rank), Fourth Grade, from the Mozufferpore to the Dinagepore Division. CoMMUNICATIONs. No. 192.-Declarations under Section 6, Act X of 1870 of the Government of India.— Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken up by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for railway purposes, in the village of Hureehurpore, pergunnah Belgachee, zillah Furreedpore, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a picce of land measuring, more or less, 8 beeghas 10 cottahs and 6 chittacks of standard measurement, bounded on the north by lands occupied by Kripa Nauth Sickdar, Ramgutty Lahory, Ram Soondur Poramanick, and Jadub Poramanick; on the south by lands belonging to Eastern Bengal Railway Company; on the east by lands occupied by Ram Soondur Poramanick; and on the west by lands occupied by Kripa Nauth Sickdar and Ramgutty Lahory, is required within the aforesaid village of Hureehurpore. This declaration is made, under the provisions of Section 6 of Act X of 1870, to all whom may it concern. No. 193,-Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at railway expense for a railway purpose, viz. for the bungalows of the East Indian Railway, in the village of Muddapore, pergunnah Saruth Deoghur, zillah Sonthal Pergunnahs, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land measuring, more or less, 8 acres and 38 poles or perches of standard measurement, bounded on the north by the East Indian Railway Company’s land, and on the east, south, and west, by Dunny Mea’s land, is required within the aforesaid village of Muddapore. 2. This declaration is made, under the provisions of Section 6 of Act X of 1870, to all whom it may concern. Q No. 194.—Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for station purposes of the East Indian Railway Company, in the village of Ghorat Pandooah, pergunnah Chutteepore, zillah Hooghly, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land measuring, more or less, 5 cottahs and 15 chittacks of standard measurement, bounded on the north by the East Indian Railway Company’s land; on the south partly by [Gorernment Gasette, 10th July 1877.]
