No. 297-In continuation of this Department Notification No. 73, dated the 24th August 1869, it is hereby notified, under Section 6 of the Canals Act, V of 1864, that seven miles of the Kendrapara canal extension below Marsagliai will be open for traffic from the 1st October 1877, when the usual tollage of eight annas per 100 maunds for passing into the new Marsaghai lock leading into the extension will be levied.
