Beatty, Executive Engineer (temporary rank), Fourth Grade, assumed charge of the Orissa Division on the 21st September 1877, after noon. No. 268–Baboo Haran Chunder Banerjee, Assistant Engineer, Third Grade, joined the Ganges and Darjeeling Road Division on the 21st September 1877, before moon, on return from privilege leave. No. 264.—Baboo Kedar Nath Dass, Overseer, First Grade, joined the Chittagong Division on the 18th September 1877, before moon. The 8th September 1877. No. 265.—"romotions.—The Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to make the following promotions in the Provincial Engineer Establishment in Bengal :— TEMPORARY. To be Executive Engineer, Third Grade : Mr. T. Beatty, Executive Engineer (temporary rank), Fourth Grade, Officiating Executive Engineer, Orissa Division, with effect from the 15th April 1877. To be Executive Engineer, Fourth Grade : Mr. J. C. G. Keddie, Assistant Engineer, First Grade, Darjeeling Division (on deputation at Madras), with effect from the 15th April 1877. To be Assistant Engineer, First Grade Mr. J. A. Price, Assistant Engineer, Second Grade, Nuddea Rivers Division, with effect from the 15th April 1877. Mr. A. G.
