M. .IPaar II - * ( ملایماخ ) The 22nd October 1877–Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for general improvement in the Town of Calcutta, it is hereby declared that for the above-purpose pieces of land, Nos. 3 and 15, Mitter's Lane, Nos. 131 and 182, Machooa Bazar Street, measuring, more or less, 4 beeghas 18 cottahs and 8 chittacks, the boundaries of which are as follow :— Mark A.—On the north by a public drain; on the south by a public lane; on the east by No. 14, Mitter's Lane, belonging to Gour Mohun Mudduck; and on the west by a new road from Mooktaram Baboo's Street to Machooa Bazar Street. Mark B.-On the north and west by a public drain ; on the south by a public drain, and on the east by a new road from Mooktaram Baboo's Street to Machooa Bazar Street. Mark C.—On the north and east partly by a public drain and partly by No. 131, Machooa Bazar Streabelonging to Romannath Sett; on the south by No. 131, Machooa Bazar Street, belonging to Romanauth Sett; and on the west by a new road from Mooktaram Baboo's Street to Machooa Bazar Street, are required within the aforesaid Town of Calcutta. The 5th October 1877.--Baboo Sree Nath Roy, Officiating Judge, Small Cause Court, Jessore, is allowed leave for thirty-three days, under the rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 6th instant. The 13th October 1877—Baboo Nobin Chunder Pal, late Second Subordinate Judge of Dacca, is allowed leave for three months, under Section 3, Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 5th September 1877. The 14th October 1877.—Baboo Judoonath Mullick, First Subordinate Judge and Judge of the Small Cause Court, Rajshahye, is allowed leave for sixteen days, under the rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 23rd October 1877. The 18th October 1877.-Mr. W. Rattray, who has, under separate orders of this day's date, been appointed a Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector of the Seventh Grade, is vested with the powers of a Magistrate of the Third Class.
