( ২৫২ ) [PAw* II. ORDERS BY THE LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR OF BENGAL, No. 1042A. GENERAt.-The 22nd February 1886–The Lieutenant-Governor accepts the resig" nation tendered by Captain C. H. Pillans of his commission in the Northern Bengal Volunteer Rifle Corps. The 24th February 1886–Baboo Bhai Baz Sinha, Officiating Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Purneah, is allowed leave for two months and six da ys, under section 72, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, with offect from the 1st March next, or from such subsequent date as he may avail himself of it. In supersession of the order of the 29th December 1885, Baboo Purna Chandra Nag is appointed to act as a Sub-Deputy Collector, in the district of Chittagong, and is posted to the Sudder station of that district, during the absence, on deputation, of Baboo Doorga Churn Ghosc, or until further orders, with effect from the date on which he joined his appointment. Baboo Madan Gopal Singh, Temporary Sub-Deputy Collector, Maldah, is retransferred to Deoghur, in the district of the Sonthal Pergunnahs, with effect from the 18th ultimo. Mr. F. E. Pargıter, c s., reported his departure from India on furlough on the forenoon of the 7th instant The 25th February 1886.-The services of M J. F. Rampuni, District and Sessions Judge of Dacca, is appointed to act as District and Sessions Judge of Hooghly, during the absence, on deputation, of Mr. J. P. Grant, or until further orders. Mr. W H. Page, District and Sessions Judge of Furreedpore, is appointed to act as T)istrict and Sessions Judge of Dacca, during the absence, on deputation, of Mr. R. F. Rampini, or until further orders. The services of Mr. G. E. Porter, Judicial Commissioner, Chota Nagpore, are placed temporarily at the disposal of the Government of India, in the Home Department. Mr. F. W. R. Cowley, District and Sessions Judge, Chittagong, is appointed to act as Judicial Commissioner of Chota Nagpore, during the absence, on deputation, of Mr. G. E. Porter, or until further orders. Baboo Dhanesh Chunder Roy, First Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of the Patna Division, is allowed leave for forty-five days, under section 72, chapter W of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 15th February 1886. The 27th February 1886.-Mr. W. C. Macpherson, Under-Secretary to the Government of Bengal, is allowed furlough for seven months and twenty-four days, under section 50, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 1st April 1886, Baboo Gunga Nund Mookerjee, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Manbhoom, is allowed leave for fourteen days, under section 72, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, with effcct from the date on which he may avail himself of it. The 1st March 1886.-Moulvie Zakir Hossein, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Col. lector, Maldah, was on leave, under section 72, chapter W of the Civil Leave Code on the 15th July last. Baboo Koylash Chuuder Chatterjee, Sub-Deputy Collector, Monghyr, is allowed leave for twenty days, under section 72, chapter V of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from such date as he may avail himself of it. Baboo Ashutosh Gupta, Officiating Personal Assistant to the Commissioner, Burdwan invision, is allowed leave for three months, under section 128, chapter X of the Civil Leave Code, un extension of the leave granted to him under the order of the 4th December 1885. Baboo Kedar Nath Mookerjee, Sub-Deputy Collector, is posted to Madhubani in the district of Durbhunga, with effect from the date on which he joined his appointment.
