NOTIFICATION The 1st March 1886-Under section 2, Act XII of 1880 (an Act for the appointment of persons as Qazis), and in modification of the notification, dated the 20th February 1885, published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 25th idem, the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to grant sanads (licenses) to the undermentioned gentlemen, appointing them Qazis of the thannah or outposts in the Chittagong district specified against their respective names for the celebration of marriages and the performance of other rites and ceremonies, when application is made to them to perform any such functions— Moulavi Sadat Alı ... NOTIFICATION The 2nd March 1886 –It is hereby notified, under the provisions of section 15 of Act V of 1861, that the villages of Bamna, Chechan, Amtall, Tabsoar, Dewatola, Kalagachia, Safipoor, Kachechhıra, Ohotta Safipoor, Katakhalı, Daskhalı, Bukabonia, Kalıkabarı, Gazepore, Bebaziakhali, Kalikabari II, Joynagar, Nizkatı, Sanbonia, Jafrakalia, Bara Tabsoar, Karaitola, Khushinchira, Bhaizara, Khulpotna, Barahowla, Ajudia, Patkakhalı, Rubıta, and Dhona, ın the Perozepore sub-division, in the district of Backergunge, being still in a disturbed and dangerous state, owing to the existence of a dispute regarding the possession of lands and collection of rents, the Lieutenant-Governor has sanctioned the retention, for a further period of one year, commencing from the 15th February 1886, of a special police force of 1 Sub-Inspector, 8 Head-constables, and 25 Constables, to be I Government Gazette, 9th March 1886.1
