Chase, Assistant Locomotive Superintendent, is appointed to officiate as Locomotive Superintendent, Northcra Bengal State Railway, during the absence of Mr. A. Morton, on privilege leave, or until further orders. RAILway. The 23rd February 1886. No. 62.-Declaration.—Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz., for Singhua new river siding, in the village of Gadgachi, pergunnah Chengutia, sillah Jessore, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land, measuring, more or less, 23 bighas 10 cottahs and 12 chattacks of standard measurement, bounded on the north by the river Bhyrub (owners, Rajah of Chanchra, sillah*Jessore, Hemoda Kanto Roy, Manoda Kanto Roy, and Ganoda Kanto Roy), east by the free ghat land of the Bengal Central Railway company; south by the Singhua station compound and railway fence of Bengal Central Railway company; and west by the land of zemindar Baboo Chundra Kumar Boy of Narall, sillah Jessore, is required within the aforesaid village of Gadgachi.
