Virtue cannot be attained only by ofering prayers lowards the wost or towards the east. He only is virtuous who believes in God and in the day ol Judgineni. Ho only is virtuous who believes in angels, religious books and prophets. He is virtuous who gives in charily in the name of God. He is virtuous who helps his relatives, the orphans, the needy, the sirungers, and for the sreedom of the slaves and applicants. He only is virtuous who is every day absorbed in prayer and gives according to his means. He is virtuous who is palient ał time of misery, oxcessive labour and Oppression. He only is virtuous whose heart is pure and who has sincere regard for God." (The Quoran, Chap. 2).
