সাক্ষাৎ করিয়া তাঁহাকে তাবৎ আসিয়ার অধিপতি বলিয়া সেলাম করিলেন। অনন্তর সেকন্দরশাহ পার্থিয়ার পূর্ব্ব দিগ দিয়া গমন করত ইদানীন্তন খােরাসান নামে বিখ্যাত সুশা স্থানে পঁহুছিলে ডারায়সের হন্তা সত্য বার্জানিস তাঁহার যথোচিত বাধ্যতা স্বীকার করিয়া স্বীয় সুবার অধ্যক্ষ কর্ম্মে পুনর্নিযুক্ত হইলেন। ইতিমধ্যে বেশস রাজমুকুট ধারণ করিয়া ডরায়সের পরিবর্ত্তে আপনাকে সর্ব্বত্র রাজত্বরূপে বিখ্যাত করিলেন অতএব তাঁহাকে দমন করা মুখ্যকার্য্যবােধে সেকন্দরশাহ অগৌণে বাক্রিয়া দেশে তাঁহার পশ্চাৎ২ গমন করিলেন। সত্যবার্জানিস এই উদ্যোগে সেকন্দরসাহ কে ব্যস্ত দেখিয়া পুনর্ব্বার বিশ্বাসঘাতক হইয়া যে২ মাকিদোনিয়েরা তাঁহার নিকটে ছিল তাহারদিগকে হত করিয়া রাজবিদ্রোহের পতাকা উডডীয়মান করিলেন। তাহাতে সেকন্দরশাহ পশ্চাদ্ভাগে অবাধ্য প্রদেশ
