৫ম সংখ্যা] | বিবিধ প্রসঙ্গ-মিটি কলেজে মিটমাট ●እ›› including the Hindus to perform their worship according to their faith in the Bam Mohun Roy Hostel; but in view of differences of religious opinions and principles of the boarders and the College authorities, the boarders and the College authorities, out of mutual deference to the religious views and feelings of each other, agree and decide that no public celebrations of communal forms of worship will at any time take place within the precincts of the Ram Mohun Roy Hostel. (2) The City College authorities accept the offer of the City College Professors’ Union to provide a place of worship near the Ram Mohun Roy Hostel where Hindu boarders of the Hostel will have full facilities for the performance of their religious observances and also to raise funds to place the arrangements om a permanent.basis, so that no financial burden shall ever have to be borne by the students of the Hostel. Mr. S. M. Bose in his personal capacity will see that the above arrangements are given effect to. (3) If any other College Hostel or Mess exists or is, in future, started by the College authorities specially for Hindu students, unrestricted liberty of worship will be permitted there. (4) The students express regret for any excess they may have committed in connection with the dispute. (5) The City College authorities are sorry if any one among their staff has hurt the religious feelings of the Hindu students on any occasion. जर्षॉ", - ১। সিটি কলেজের কর্তৃপক্ষ যদিও রামমোহন রায় হটেলে সকল শ্রেণীর ছাত্রদিগের (হিন্দুদিগেরও ) নিজ निज थ*षडांइनांtब्र गूज कब्रिषांब्र चशिकांब्र चैौकांब्र करब्रन, ठषांनि शंज ७ करणबकईगएकब्र भाषा १ईमठ ७ বিশ্বাসের পার্থক্য থাকায় ছাত্র ও কর্তৃপক্ষ, পরম্পরের ধৰ্ম্ম बिंधांtनब्र अंठि अक्षा वनउः, ५कयड श्ब्रा हिब्र করিতেছেন যে, রামমোহন রায় হষ্টেলের সীমানার মধ্যে কোন সময়ে কোন প্রকার সাম্প্রদায়িক পূজা হইতে •ोप्लिएरु न । ২। সিটি কলেজের কর্তৃপক্ষ সিটিকলেজের প্রফেগাসইউনিয়নের প্রস্তাবে সন্মতি জানাইতেছেন। এই প্রস্তাব অনুসারে প্রফেসাস ইউনিয়ন রামমোহন রায় হষ্টেলের হিন্দু ছাত্রদিগের জন্য নিজের খরচে হষ্টেলের বাহিরে একটি পূজার স্থান ঠিক করিয়া দিবেন এবং যাহাতে বরাবর এই ব্যবস্থা থাকে এবং এই জন্ত ছাত্রদিগকে অথবা কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষকে কোনরূপ ব্যয়ভার বহন করিতে न इब उांशंद्र छछ ५क क७ भूणिबांब्र cझडे कब्रिटरन । ঐযুক্ত এস, এম. বন্ধ ব্যক্তিগতভাবে এই ব্যবস্থা অনুসারে যাহাতে কাজ হয়, তাহা দেখিবেন। - ৩। যদি কখন সিটি কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ হিন্দু ছাত্রদিগের জন্য বিশেষ কোন ছাত্রাবাস প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন বা যদি এইরূপ কোন ছাত্রাবাস বর্তমানে থাকে তাহা হইলে সেই ছাত্রাবাসে পূজার পূর্ণ অধিকার দেওয়া হইবে। ৪ । ছাত্রগণ ধৰ্ম্মঘট ও সত্যাগ্ৰহ কালে কোনও বাড়াবাড়ি করিয়া থাকিলে তাহার জন্য দুঃখ প্রকাশ করিতেছেন । ৫ । সিটি কলেজের কোন শিক্ষাদাতা যদি কোন ভাবে কোন ছাত্রের ধৰ্ম্ম মুভূতিতে আঘাত করিয়া থাকেন তাহা হইলে সেজন্ত কর্তৃপক্ষ দুঃখ প্রকাশ করিতেছেন। এবিষয়ে সিটিকলেজ প্রফেসাস ইউনিয়নের অভিমত নিয়ে উদ্ধৃত করা হইতেছে। সিটি কলেজের মীমাংসা সম্পর্কে তাহারা স্বতঃপ্রবৃত্ত হইয়া যে-সাহায্য করিলেন, তজ্জন্ত র্তাহারা বিশেষ ধন্যবাদার্হ । In order to bring about a settlement of the present dispute between the College authorities and the orthodox Hindu students, the City College Professors' Union does hereby volunteer, on its own financial responsibility, to provide a place of worship for the orthodox Hindu boarders of the Ram Mohun Roy Hostel as near the Hostel
