VSSON द९भ-ब्रिम् । তিনি মাসিক দুই শত পাঁচিশ টাকার স্থায়ী দানেরও ব্যবস্থা করিয়াছেন । এই ভাবে প্ৰতিশ্রুতিমত আন্তরিকতার সহিত কাৰ্য্য করিয়া মুক্ত হন্তে অর্থব্যয় দ্বারা এই কলেজের তিনি কতকগুলি অসুবিধা দূর করিয়া লোকের চিরআশীর্বাব্দভাজন হইয়াছেন। বিগত ৬ই এপ্ৰেল ১৯২০, সালে বঙ্গেশ্বর লর্ড রোণালন্ডসে এই ঔষধালয়ের স্বারোন্মোচন-সভার অধিবেশনে সন্ত্রীক উপস্থিত ছিলেন । দেবেন্দ্র বাবু সুবৰ্ণময় চাবি তঁহাকে উপহার দিয়া ঐ চাবির দ্বারা দাতব্য চিকিৎসালয়ের দ্বারোন্মোচন করিতে অনুরোধ করিলেন। বঙ্গেশ্বর দ্বারোন্মোচন প্রসঙ্গে নিম্নলিখিত বক্তােতাটী দিয়াছিলেন :- It was my privilege after laying the foundation-stone of the new hospital-block a few minutes ago to perform another ceremony mainely, that of opening DEBENDRA NATH MULIACK CHARITABIE DISPENSARY. by his splendid gift which includes not merely the building which I have opened but what is even more important, an endowment which will provide for the carrying on the work of the dispensary. Babu Debendra Nath Mullick has added one more to the mamy philanthropic work for which the people of Bengad are indebted to him, and has earned for himself an honoured place in the role of benefactors of the institution. We thank him for the gift itself, and thank him even more for the example which he has thus set.'
