He appears to have laboured consistently with the high object of promoting the public good as he conceived it. He has been frank and outspoken and tenacious of his own opinions, but I have not known him to fail in courtesy and true loyalty. I believe that any course of conduct not perfectly straightforward would be entirely foreign to his nature and habit of thought. Although Pandit Adityaram Bhattacharya has retired from the service of Government, he has, as far as it is possible for me to form an opinion, the physical, moral and mental strength for many year's labour in serving his day and generation, and amongst other things it is hoped that he will still continue to take part in the work of the Provincial Text Book Committee.
