I appreciate hearing from you on this matter. I share your concern over the tragic events which have occurred in East Pakistan in recent weeks. You may be interested to know that I have joined in co-sponsoring a resolution which would suspend an U. S. military assistance to East Pakistan until the conflict is resolved.
