67. Even a son given, provided he be endued with good qualities, is (con- vyayastha. sidered as) allied by the whole blood, if he were accepted by the mother of the ourasa son; but if not adopted by her, he is (considered as) a half brother.” For, in the case of a son given and the rest, adoption is acknowledged to be cquivalent to Reason. procreatiom.* . - - ظِیمِ 68. On the death of one who has received the inheritance of his brother, his vol. own son or other heir takes the succession.*. Not the son of any other brother; for it is no longer the property of his (deceased) uncle, the Reason. estate having already devolved on a collateral relation.” m 69. If both the uterine and half brother were not re-united (with the Varal: deceased owner) after separation, then the uterine brother exclusively takes the estate of his uterine brother.{ - In conformity with the text: “The uterine brother shall take the cstate of his uterine Authority. brother."+ - 70. If there be a re-united half brother, and an unre-united whole brother, vyavatha'. then both (equally) take the estate.} : In conformity with the text: “But a half brother being again associated may take the Authority. succession,” and so forth.† - 71. If the uterine and half brothers both were re-united (with the deceased) vyavasthas. then the re-united whole brother exclusively takes the inheritance.f Because (in this case) he possesses a double title (namely, his being uterine, and also re. Reason & Authority. united); and in conformity with the text: “A re united (co-heir) shall keep the estate of his re-united co-parcener, (who is deceased)+. - - 72. Among the whole brothers, if one be re-united after separation, the vyayastha'. estate (of the deceased) belongs to him.f o * - هي - o 73.
