  • The author of Dáya-mirnaya states the succession differently, viz.: “First the maternal uncle; then the maternal unle's son ; next the maternal grandfather; after him, the mother's sister's son; subsequently the maternal uncle's son's son ; and lastly the mate great grandfather.” He gives reasons founded on the number of oblations deemed beneficial to the d ed owner.
