First Principles, P. 278. তিনি বলিলেন, এই পরিণামী অব্যক্ত ব্যক্ত-অবস্থায় আসিবার কালীন যে সকল পরিণাম প্রাপ্ত হয়, অথবা যে যে অবস্থা দিয়া তাহা যায়, সেই গতিপথ বা পরিণাম সকল নির্ণয় করা প্রকৃত দর্শনশাস্ত্রের কার্য্য। হিন্দু সৃষ্টিতত্ত্বে সেই পরিণাম-সকল পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খরূপে প্রদর্শিত হইয়াছে
