It is o, т, нэг The following is a brief record of the temple wich Dewan Ganga Gabinda Sinha of historic fame caused to be constructed on the sacred spot of Lord Gauranga's birth, The temple, it is supposed, is now under twenty cubits of ground in the extensive shallows of the Ganges on the northwestern side of the town of Nabadwip about a mille off. 3 - 13, it The devout Baisinab, Dewan Ganga Gabinda Sinha, on his retirement from the concerns of the world, came to settle at Nabadwip 40 or 45 years after the house of Lord Gauranga disappeared in shapeless ruins, washed down by the Ganges. He made it his first duty, after he settled here, to discover the site of this house. From the reports of persons who saw the house with their own eyes and other documentaly evidence, he concluded the house to be at Mayapur on the north west corner of Malanch para spent much money in constructing a temple of nine domes on the spot which was sanctified by Lord Gauranga's birth. In this temple, he set up his own God of the name of Radha Ballavji and made arrangements for its daily worship in November of 1792, In course of time the temple fell into the Ganges and was washed away. Long afterwards when the o Gangeš töök northerly direction in its zig-zag course, the top of the temple became visible, the event taking place in April of 1872.
