২১১ শ্ৰীশ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ কথামৃত—৫ম ভাগ [ পরিশিষ্ট অতএব ঈশ্বর আমাকেই কৃপা করেন, ওদের করেন না। এ সব লোক জানে না যে, ঈশ্বর সকলের বাপ মা, আস্তরিক হ’লে তিনি সকলকে দয়া করেন। কি প্রেমের ধৰ্ম্ম । এ কথা তিনি তো বার বার বলিলেন, কিন্তু কয়জন ধারণা করিতে পারিল ? শ্ৰীযুত কেশব সেন কতকটা পারিয়াছিলেন। আর স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ জগতের সন্মুখে এই প্রেমের অগ্নিমন্ত্রে দীক্ষিত হইয়া প্রচার করিলেন। ঠাকুর শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণ মতুয়ার বুদ্ধি ( dogmatism ) করিতে বার বার নিষেধ করিয়াছিলেন। ‘আমার ধৰ্ম্ম সত্য ও তোমার মিথ্যা এটির নাম ‘মতুয়ার বুদ্ধি'—এইটি যত অনর্থের মূল। স্বামী এই অনর্থের কথা চিকাগো ধৰ্ম্মসমিতিসমক্ষে বলিলেন। বলিলেন, খ্ৰীষ্টান, মুসলমান ইত্যাদি অনেকেই ধৰ্ম্মের নামে কত রক্তারক্তি, কাটাকাটি, মারামারি করিয়াছেন। Sectarianism, bigotry and its horrible descendant fanaticism have possessed long this beautiful earth. (Chi cago Parliament of Religions ) স্বামী অপর এক বক্তৃতায় সকল ধৰ্ম্ম সত্য, এ কথা বিজ্ঞানশাস্ত্রের প্রমাণ দিয়া বুঝাইতে চেষ্টা করিলেন,— “If any one here hopes that this unity will come by the triumph of any one of these religions and the destruction of the others, to him I say, Brother, yours is an impossible hope. Do I wish that the Christian should become Hindu o God forbid. Do I wish that the Hindu or Buddhist should become Christian f God forbid.” “The seed is put in the ground, and earth and air and water are placed around it. Does the seed become the earth or the air or the water No, it becomes a plant, it assimilates the air, the earth and the water, converts them into plant substance and grows a plant.” similar is the case with religion.
