Zachariah-zstrz History of Hooghly College পুস্তকখানি পাঠ করিতে অনুরোধ করি । পৃ. ৪৫—অভয়াচরণ তর্কপঞ্চানন ২• আগষ্ট ১৮৩৬ তারিখে পণ্ডিত অভয়াচরণ তর্কপঞ্চানন হুগলী কলেজের সুপারিন্টেণ্ডিং পণ্ডিত নিযুক্ত হন । ওঁাচার বেতন প্রথমে ৫০২, পরে ৬০২ হয়। হুগলীতে কৰ্ম্মগ্রহণের পূৰ্ব্বে তিনি পাঁচ বৎসর বৈদ্যবাটতে মুনসেফ ছিলেন । ১৮৪৫ সনে তিনি দায়রত্নাবলী’ নামে একখানি পুস্তক ( পৃ. ২৭ ) প্রকাশ করিয়াছিলেন । ৪ নবেম্বর ১৮৫৪ তারিখে তাহার মৃত্যু হয় । , পৃ. ৪৭—ডাঃ ইসডেল ডাঃ ইস্ণ্ডেলই সৰ্ব্বপ্রথম এদেশে সম্মোহন-বিস্ত (meamerism) প্রয়োগে অস্ত্রচিকিৎসার স্বচনা করেন ।
