বঙ্গীয় मङिा পরিষদ 217 ভৌগোলিক পরিভাষা প্রণয়ন কার্য্য এতদিনে সম্পন্ন হইল। পারিভাষিক সমিতি কর্তৃক এই পরিভাষা প্রণীত হইয়াছে। ১৩০১ সালে এই সমিতির পাঁচটি অধিবেশন হইয়াছিল। তন্মধ্যে প্রথম তিনটি অধিবেশনে নিম্নলিখিত সভ্যগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন শ্রীযুক্ত কৃষ্ণকমল ভট্টাচার্য্য বিচারপতি গুরুদাস বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় শ্রীযুক্ত রাজেন্দ্রচন্দ্র শাস্ত্রী , রামেন্দ্রসুন্দর ত্রিবেদী, রজনীকান্ত গুপ্ত দেবেন্দ্রনাথ মুখোপাধ্যায় ১৩০২ সালে একটিমাত্র অধিবেশন হয়। এ অধিবেশনে কেবল ডাক্তার গুরুদাস বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ও শ্রীযুক্ত রাজেন্দ্রচন্দ্র শাস্ত্রী উপস্থিত হন। ১৩০৩ সালে ১লা আশ্বিন সংস্কৃত কলেজে যে অধিবেশন হইয়াছিল। তাহাই শেষ অধিবেশন। তাহাতেই ইহার অবশিষ্ট সমস্ত কার্য্য নিম্পন্ন হইয়াছে। এবারে কেবল বিচারপতি ডাক্তার বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ও শ্রীযুক্ত রাজেন্দ্রচন্দ্র শাস্ত্রী এই দুইজন সভ্য উপস্থিত ছিলেন। 米: 卒 来 সর্বশেষে মাননীয় বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় মহাশয় এই ব্যাপারে যেরূপ যত্ন - -mdh= - mm Col. H. S. Jarrett, Nawab Abdoof Luteef, Babu Rajaninath Ray, and Mahamahopadhyay Mahesachandra Nyayaratna opposed the motion. Babu Bankimchandra Chatterjee, Babu Chandranath Basu, and Babu Mahendra Inath Ray spoke in favour of the motion. Babu Nismani Mukerjee spoke against the motion. The Rev. Dr Macdonald, Mr. A. M. Bose, and Babu Haraprasad Sastri supported the motion. With the consent of the meeting the amendment was withdrawn, being taken as a direct negative of the original motion. The motion was then put to the vote, and declared fost by majority of 17 to 11
