টাছড়া রাজবংশ 8వd অনেকগুলি বৃত্তি ও চাকরাণ মহল বাজেয়াপ্ত করেন ; উহার জন্ত গভর্ণমেণ্টের নামে আদালতে নালিশ করিয়া পরাজিত হইলেন, আর লাভের মধ্যে যথোচিত অর্থদণ্ড হইল। কিন্তু মোট কথা কোন উপায়ে কিছু রক্ষ হইল না ; ১৭৯৮৯ অব্দে সব সম্পত্তি নানা ভাবে হস্তচ্যুত হইয় গেল। * এমন সময়ে রাজা শ্ৰীকণ্ঠ একটি নাবালক পুত্র ও বিধবা রাখিয়া দেহত্যাগ করিলেন ( *b ०२०) ! তখন কোম্পানী বাহাদুর কালেক্টর সাহেবের অনুরোধে রাজপরিবারের জন্য মাসিক ২•৮২ টাকা বৃত্তি মধুর করিলেন । ১৮.৭ অন্ধে রাণীর মৃত্যুর পর ঐ বৃত্তি ১৮৬\ হইল। সে সময়ও নিঃসন্তান গোপীনাথ ভ্রাতুপুত্র বাণীকণ্ঠের অভিভাবক স্বরূপে বিষয়ের তত্ত্বাবধান করিতেন। পরবৎসর সুপ্রীমকোর্টের মোকদ্দমার ফলে সৈদপুর পরগণার নীলাম রদ হওয়ায় বাণীকণ্ঠ জমিদার বলিয়৷ গণ্য হইলেন এবং সবকারী বৃত্তি বন্ধ হইল। কয়েক বৎসর পরে বিলাত পৰ্যন্ত আপীল করিয়া ইমাদপুর পরগণার উদ্ধার হইল। গোপীনাথ মৃত্যুর পূৰ্ব্বে র্তাহার সকল স্বত্ব ভ্রাতুপুত্রকে লিখিয়া দিয়া যান। ১৮১৭ অব্দে তিন বৎসরের নাবালক পুত্র বরদাকণ্ঠকে রাখিয় রাজা বাণীকণ্ঠ অকালে মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হন। এই সময়ে সদাশয় টুকার সাহেব । Mr. C.
