NBO বঙ্গীয়-সাহিত্য-পবিষ্যদের on the 4th July a meeting ef the committee was held to discuss how to proceed in the matter And the following is one of resolutions adopted ab the meeting:- 'That this committee do approach the recognised leaders ef the Hindu community with a view to solicit their co-operation in the promotion of the objects of the committee. To give effect to the abc; e resolution, I, as President of the said committee, approach you, in the hope that you will readily cone forward to cooperate in this matter and bring about better feelings between Hindus and Mussal mans, by trying to remove all causes that have unfortunately created a tension between them over this affair. I am dirceted by the committee to request you to exercise your influence over Bengali authors and mapagers or proprietors of theatres in this connection and I think this can be done by nolding a meeting of prominent Hiudu and Mahomedan loaders and others directly or indirectly interested in the matter, Awaiting the favour of an early reply, I remain, Yours faithfully. President of the committee, এই পত্র সম্বন্ধে সভাপতি মহাশয় বলেন যে, হিন্দু ও মুসলমান উভয় সমাজের মধ্যে অসম্ভাব হওয়া উভয় সমাজের পক্ষেই অমঙ্গলজনক ; সুতরাং এই পত্রানুযায়ী সাহিত্য-পরিষদের পক্ষ হইতে একটি সঙ্কল্প করা উচিত বলিয়া কাস্যনিৰ্বাহক সমিতি স্থির করিয়াছেন। এই প্রসঙ্গে মহামহোপাধ্যায় পণ্ডিতরাজ শ্ৰীযুক্ত যাদবেশ্বর তর্করত্ন মহাশয় জানাইলেন যে উত্তরবঙ্গী-সাহিত্য-সম্মিলনে এইরূপ এক প্ৰস্তাব করা হইয়াছিল। তৎপরে অনেক আলোচনায় পর সর্বসম্মতি ক্ৰমে নিম্নলিখিত সঙ্কল্প গৃহীত হইল :-
- डाब्रडवर्षीघ्र श्न्लूि ७ भूगैमान KDELLLD DBBD DtDBD BDBDDD BBSED DD K sS দুতয় সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে প্ৰীতি-বন্ধনের ব্যাঘাত ঘটে, এমন কোন পুস্তক বা সন্দর্ভ ঐতিহাসিক সত্যের অপলাপ করিয়া যাহাতে রচিত না श्न, उ९नषक श्न्यूि ७ भूनगभान ख्डब्र जर्थদায়েয় বঙ্গভাষার লেখকগণকে বঙ্গীয় সাহিত্য-পরিষৎ সানুনয় অনুরোধ করিতেছেন ।
