Kumar Gopendra Krishna is appointed to act as a Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector, and is posted to Howrah. Policr.—The 21st January 1876.-Mr. Herbert Rowland Symons, Officiating Assistant Superintendent of Police, Hazareebagh, on special duty, is allowed leave for one month, under Section 21, Clause 1, Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code. I The 22nd January 1876.-Mr. William Barton Savi, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Cachar, is appointed to act in the First Grade of Assistant Superintendents of Police, with effect from the 7th September last. g * Mr. Henry Neville Harris, District Superintendent of Police, is allowed leave for nine days, from the 12th to the 20th December, under Section 3, Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code, in extension of the leave grantèd to him under orders of the 31st August 1874. Mr. Harris is also allowed the usual subsidiary leave, to enable him to rejoin his appointment on his return from furlough. H Ecclesiastical—The 24th January 1876—The Rev. A. R. E. Haegert, of the Baptist Mission in the Sonthal Pergunnahs, is authorized, under Clause 5, Section 5 of Act XV of 1872, to grant certificates of marriage between Native Christians. The Rev. Nundo Lall Dass, a Christian Missionary of the London Missionary Soeiety at Berhampore, is authorized, under Clause 5, Section 5, Act XV of 1872, to grant certificates of marriage between Native Christians. Registration—The 15th January 1876.-Moonshee Tufuszul Hossein is appointed to be Sub-Registrar of Satkhirah, in the 24-Pergunnahs, rice Baboo Khetter Mohun Mookerjee, resigned. The 19th January 1876—Lieutenant J. F. Rivett-Carnac, Officiating Assistant Commissioner, Iohardugga, is appointed also to be Sub-Registrar of Ranéhee, with effeét fiom the 20th November 1875, vice Captain W. Hopkinson, transferred. Education.—The 21st January 1876.--Pändit Mohesh Chunder Nynyaratna, Professor, Sanskrit College, is appointed to act in the Fourth Class of the Bengal Educational Service. Monical,—The 21st January 1876.-Assistant Surgeon Jodu Nath Bose, attached to the Chuckdigee Dispensary, is allowed leave for six weeks, under Section 8, Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 26th November 1875. 幅 Assistant Surgeon Debendro Nath Gupta is appointed, until further orders; to live charge of the Chuckdigee Dispensary, during the absence, on Jeave, of Assistant Surgeon Jodu Nath Bose, with effect from the 18th December 1875. .
