Both matters are already provided for—the one by the Stamp Act, the other by the Limitation Act. * Clause 024 limits the time within which applications for review must be made. This also is provided for by the Limitation Act. ஆ & Clause 636 relates to the extraordinary civil jurisdiction of the High Courts. It seems inexpedient to insert this in thc Bill, for as to the High Courts established under 24 and 25 Vic., cap. 104, the matter is proviied for by the Letters Patent; and as to the other highest Civil Courts of Appeal (see Act I of 1868, section 1, clause ll) the matter is, or ought to be, provided for by the local Acts under which they are established. Clauses 638 and 689 refer to the stamps to be used in the High Courts. The matter is provided for by the Stamp Act and the Court Fees’ Act. o Clauses 664–667 relate to contempt in Court. This matter is sufficiently dealt with by Act X of 1872, sections 435, 436, and 437, as regards all High Courts not established under 24 and 25 Wic., cap. 104. For courts established under that Statute no such provisions are needed. - Clause 680 is omitted, as the two Acts which it saves have been repealed. We have thus described the changes which we have made in the Bill of 1865.
