২e স্বসন্তান লাভের উপায়। ৮। “বিবৃতশায়িনী—” (চরকসংহিতা, শারীরস্থান।) “গর্ভিণী হস্ত, পদ এবং অন্তান্ত অঙ্গ বিস্তার করিয়া শয়ন করিলে ও রাত্রিতে ভ্রমণ করিলে, উন্মত্ত সন্তান প্রসব করে। যে গর্ভবতী রমণী বাক্যের দ্বারা, শরীর দ্বারা কলহ করে, যে গর্ভবতী রমণী সৰ্ব্বদা পুরুষংসর্গ করে, তাহার কাণ, খোড়া, বিকলাঙ্গ, নিলাজ অথবা স্ত্রৈণ সন্তান হয়। যে গর্ভবতী রমণী শোকাকুলা, ঈৰ্ষাপরতন্ত্রা ও পরদ্রব্যের অভিলাষিণী, পরের পীড়াদায়িনী, চোৰ্য্যশীলা, ক্রোধশীলা, নিদ্রাপরতন্ত্রা, মিথ্যাবাদিনী, মদ্যপানাসক্তা, তাহার বিকৃত এবং নানা দুরারোগ্য পীড়ায় আক্রান্ত, ঈৰ্ষাপরায়ণ ও মিথ্যাবাদী সন্তান জন্মে।” এ সম্বন্ধে ডাক্তার কাউয়েন মহাশয় বলেন : —“স্বামী স্ত্রী সামান্ত সামান্ত কারণেও কলহ করিবে না । কারণ, তাহাদের এই কলহের ফলে সন্তানও বিকৃত হয়। একটি স্ত্রীলোক গর্ভাবস্থায় তাহার পতির সহিত কিছুকাল কথা বলে নাই। তাহাদের সস্তানটি বড় হইলে, যখন সে পিতার ক্রোড়ে যাইত, তখন নীরবে বসিয়া থাকিত । *
