'l'ill: 8111 Frnur ARv, 1845. The following I)rast of a proposed Act was read in Council for the first time on the 8th Eebruary 1843. Act No. — of 1845. l It is hereby enutt (l, that f om and after the so much of Act XIV. of 1836, so much of Schedule A thereto annext d, so much of Act I of 1838, so much of Schedule A thereto annexed much of \{t \ I of 1814, and so Inuth of Schedule A thereto annexed, as provides the lates of duty to be changed on thi hoods Lüxt hereinafter specifică, be repealed. Maline Store 4, the produce on manufacture of the United Kingdom or of any British Possession. Marine Stores, the produce of any othel plate on country. Mctals, wrought, or unwrought, the produce or nanufacture of the l'nited Kingdom or of any 13titish Possession. Metals, wrought or unwrought, excepting Tin, the produce or manufacture of any other place. Woollens, the produce of manufacture of the United Kingdom or any British Possession. Woollens, the produce of any other place or country. Cotton and Silk Piece Goods, Cotton Twist and Yalu, the produce of the United Kingdom or of any British Possession. Cotton and Silk Piece Goods, Cotton Twist and Yarn, the produce of any other place Wines and liqueuls. Spuits All manufactured Articles, not included in the cnumeration contained in the said Schedules 11. And it is hereby enacted, that fiom and after the said day Duties of Customs shall he levied on thc (lood; specificd in the Schedule annexed to this Act, imported by Sea into Calcutta, or into any other place within the Plovinces of Bengal or Orissa, into any place in the Territories subordinate to the (Hovernment of the l’residency of Bombay, and into any place within the Territories subordinate to the jovernment of the l’residency of Fort St. George, according to the lates specifica in the $ud Schedule annexed to this Act. III. And it is hereby enacted, that Act XV. of 1844, entituled an Act for amending the Schedule of Import Duties annexed to Act XIV. of 1836, to Act I. of 1838, and to Act VI. of 1844, be repealed [Government Gazette, 18th February, 1845.]
