Тні: lsи М мши н, 1845. The following Act, passed by the Governor-General of iudun in Council on the 1st of March 1847, is hereby promulgated for general informataun. Acerr No. IV. op 1845. În fet to amend the I.are regarding the Registration of Deeds. I. It is hereby enacted, that from and after the passing df this Act, I)eeds may be registered ın any Registry Office within the Presidency of Fort William in Bengal, whether such office be in the District where the property or any part thereof to which such Deeds relate, is situated, Of not ll. Provided always, and it is hereby enacted, that when the Registry Office in which a Deed is registered is in a District in which the whole of the property to which such Deed relates is not situated, it shall be the duty of the Register of the said Office to forward to the oshce of the District or Districts in which the whole or any part of such property is situated, a copy of the Deed as registered and endorsed in his office, the said copies to be furnished and attested as prescribed în Clause First, Section 2, Regulation XX. 1812, and the legister of any office receiving such copy so forwarded, shall duly register the same as if it had been plesented to him in the first instance by the party registering.
