- The following Draft of a proposed Act was read in Council for the first time ou the 14th of February, 1842
AcT No of 1842 An Act for repealing certain provisions of the Bengal Code regarding translations. I —Whereas the rules regardmg the rate of payment for translations of proceedings and other docu ‘ments for the use of the Sudder Dewanny Adawlut fixed by Section W Regulation XIX 1797, and Sectiòn XXXIII Regulation IV 1803, of the Bengal Code, require amendment, — It is hereby enacted, that Section W Regulation XIX 1797, and Sections XXXIII Regulation l V 1803, be repealed Ordered, that the Draft now read be published for general information Ordered, that the said Draft be reconsidered at the first Meeting of the Legislative Council of India after the 14th day of April next.
