The following Act is passed by the IIonourable the President of the Council of India in Council on the 11th day of September, 1847, with the assent of the Right Hon ble the Governor General of India, which has been read and recoided. Ordered, that the Act be promulgated for gene ral information. AcT No. XV. or 1847. An Act for the Survey of Lands in the Town of Calcutta, within the Local limits of the Jun ts. diction of Iler Majesty's Supreme Court of Judo cature Whereas it is expedient that a correct Survey should be made of all lands in the Town of Calcutta within the local limits of Her Majesty's Supreme Court of Judicature : It is therefore hereby enacted, that it shall be lawful for the Governor of Bengal to appoint an Officer to survey the lands situate within the said local limits, and such Officer shall proceed to survey the same and to register the names of the owners and occupiers thereof as far as they can be ascertained, and such Officer shall by public notification, invite all persons owning or occupying lands and tenements within the said local limits to appear before him in person or by duly constituted attorney at whatever place within the said limits his of. fice may be held, and to bring with him all Pottahs, Ground Rent Bills, Bills of Sale, or other writings requisite for the ascertainment of the Past and pre sent boundaries of such lauds. And it is hereby enacted, that the said [Government Gazette, 21st September, 1847.] অাইন । ফোর্ট উলিয়ম । দেশীয় ডিপার্টমেন্ট । লেজিসলেটিব । ইঙ্গরেঞ্জী ১৮৪৭ সাল ১১ সেপ্টেম্বর । ভারতবষের শ্ৰীযুত গবরনর জেনরল বাহাদূরের সমভিক্রমে পশ্চাৎ লিখিত অ1 ইন ১৮৪৭ সালেব ১১ সেপ্টেম্বর তারিখে ভারতবর্ষের কৌন্সেলের *शूठ श्रमরবিল প্রসীডেন্ট সাহেব হজুৰ কৌন্সেলে জারী করিলেন। প্রযুত গবরনর জেনারল বাহাদুরের ঐ সমতিপত্র পাঠ হইয়। কৌন্সেলের লম্বীতে আপণ হইয়াছে । হুকুম হইল যে এই আইন সৰ্ব্ব সাধারণ লোককে জানাইবার নিমিত্তে প্রকাশ হয় । ইঙ্গরেঞ্জী ১৮৪৭ সাল ১৫ অাইন । শ্ৰীশ্ৰীমতী মহারাণীৰ সুপ্রিম কোর্টের এলাকার বিশেষ সীমাসরহদের মধ্যে কলিকাতা শহরের ভূমির জরিপকরণের আইন । যেহেতুক শ্ৰীশ্ৰীমতী মহাবাণীর সুপ্রিম কোর্টের এলাকার বিশেষ সীমাসংহদের মধ্যে কলিকাতা শহরের সকল ভূমির যথার্থ জরিপ করা উচিত বোধ হইয়াছে। অতএব ইচাতে হুকুম হইল যে উক্ত বিশেষ সীমাসরকদের মধ্যস্থিত ভূমি ছবিপ করিলার নিমিৰে বাঙ্গল। দেশের খ্ৰীযুত গবরমর সাহেব এক জন কর্মকারককে নিযুক্ত করিতে পারেন এবং এ কর্মকারক ঐ ভূমি জরিপ BBBBB BBBS BBBBD DBB BSBB BBB BBBBD ঐ ভূমির মালিকেবদের ও দঙ্গীলকারেরদের নাম রেগ্রিষ্টরী করিবেন এবং ঐ কর্মকাঞ্চক ঘোষণার দ্বারা ঐ বিশেষ সীমাসরহদের মধ্যস্থিত ভূমি ও বাটার মালিক ও দার্থীক্তকার সকল ব্যক্তিকে উক্ত সীমার মধ্যে যে কোন স্থানে তাছার দন্ত লখানা স্থাপন হষ সেই স্থানে ণ্ঠাহ rর সমুখে স্বয়ং উপস্থিত চইতে কিম্ব উপস্থিতহওনার্থ রীতিমতে কোন মোপ্তারকে নিযুক্ত করিতে এব^ উক্ত জর্মীর পূৰ্ব্বাকার ও বর্তমান সীমানা নিশ্চয় কবণের জন্যে ৰে সকল পাট্ট ও ভূমির খাজানার বিল এবং ধিক্রয়পত্র किन्नु! यमT cश ८कांना मदनोcव्जह ट्ञांदशTक छ्य ठाइ1फय1পনারদেব সঙ্গে আনিতে তলব করিবেন ইতি । २ थाङ्गा । ७द& इशcठ छकूय इहल ८ष s* श्राई F
