Dated 7th January 1876–It is hereby notifică for general information that so much of the notification of the 6th December 1875 (published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 8th idem, Part 1, page 1505) as dirccted the transfer of thanas Chagulnnya and Mirkescrai to the civil jurisdiction of the distiict of Noakholly is cancelled. The 4th January 1876.--Whereas it appears to thc Lieutcnant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be takcn by Government at the public expense for a public purposc, viz. for railway purposes, in the village of Chur Poll uildo, pt!rgunnah Shazapore, zillah Ioureedpore, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land measuring, more or less, 25 becahns 10 cottahs 93 chittacks of standard measurement, bounded on the north by the Eastern Bengal Railway Company's boundary and by lands belonging to Rojonee Kur, Chanchoy Shaick, Ramcoomar Sircar, Ghit Gobindo Byragee, Itedoynath Chunder, Bhogoban Sircar, Nobokristo Manjee, Dununjoy Sircar, Joykristo Poramanick, and by boundary of kismut Bhabootel; on the south by lands belonging to Allum Shaick, Sirdar Jamaul Khan, Ghit Gobindo Byragee, Redoynath Chunder, Ramanundo Doss, Gonesh Manjee, Jcnoollah Shaick, Meah Sirdar, and Shama Shunker Chowdry; on the east by the boundary of kismut Bhabooecl village and Bissonathporc; and on the west by the Furcedpore road and Eastern Bengal Railway Colupany’s boundary, is required in the aforesaid village of Chur Pollundo. This declaration is made, under the provisious of Section 6 of Act X of 1870, to all whom it may concern. ___ Whcreas it appears to thc Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public crpense for a public purpose, viz., for railway purposes, in the village of Bissonathpore, pergunnah Shazapore, zillah Purcedpore, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land measuring, more or less, 64 beeghas 16 cottahs 14 chittacks of standard measurement, bounded ou the north by the boundary of [Government Gazette, 18th January 1876.]
