Disraict Officers are informed that annual bills of record-room contingencies, wherever such bills have hitherto been Eubmitted to Commissjonors, will be discontinued, their place being supplied by the detailed monthly bills prese; ibed by the Accountant-General’s Circular No. 337, dated 2nd August 1875. This does not, however, in any way affect the submission by local officers of annual estimates of equirements from the record grant and statements of expenditure therefrom required by clauses la and l D, section VII, p. 211 of the Board's Rules. These will continue to be submitted as heretolore. }\[ი. 2. A case has been brought to the notice of the Board in which the property of the surety of a farmer, who had defaulted in the payment of revenue, was found to be situated in the North-Western I'rovinces, and, therefore, beyond the power of the Revenue Authorities to attach under Act VI) (b.c.) of 1868. The Member in charge desires to warn Collectors to make certain that the sureties of sariners possess suslicient property wish in the jn, isdiction of the Li-utenant-Gorernor of Bengal to make good the amount for which they undertake to become Q i esponsible. А. Момвт, Евф., С. В. No. 3. As the working of rule 8, section I, page 304 of the Board’s Rules is attended with some inconvenience to the public, the following rule is to be substituted for it:— 8. The issue of stamps from sub-divisional treasuries aster the 27th of a month is not now prohibited, but all transactions as to stainp" from the 28th to the 31st should be credited in the District Treasury Accounts as transactions of the ensuing month, except in Mnich, when the same procedure is to be adopted in regard to stumps after the 27th, as is followed in regard to other transactions. | fo-er» ment Gatette, 15th February 1876.]
