INSERT THE BOLLOWING Notes UNDER THIS SECTION :— Note. (1). This rule applies to ordinary, mot to special cases. If, under special circumstances, a pension is granted long after all officer has retired, retrospective effect should not be given to it without the special orders of the Government granting it, in the absence of which special orders such a pension will take effect only from the date of sanction, (2). With reference to Section 92 of this Code, a pension should, under no circumstances, be paid for the first time in arrears for more than six months without the special orders of the Local Government.
