The 18th June 1877. —In continuation of the notification dated the 15th January 1877, published in the Calcutta Gazette of 24th idem, at page 123 of Part I, it is hereby notified, under the provisions of Scotion 15 of Act V of 1861, that as the villages of Nagerpara, Ranishar, and Balikuri, in the sub-division of Madaripur, in the district of Furreedpore, are still in a disturbed state, owing to the existeuce of disputes between the ryots and the ijardar (farmer) of the above-mentioned villages, the Lieutenant-Governor has sanctioned the employment fo a further period of six months, from the 17th May 1877, of the special police force already quartered at the said villages, viz. 3 head constables and 12 constables. The charge noted below will be levied from the ijardar and the ryots residing in the said villages, i.e. one-third of the whole amount from the ijardar and two-thirds, in equal proportion, from the three villages:— Rs.
