NOTIFICATION. 臀 魂° * , * The 24th July 1877.-Plans and an estimate, amounting to Rs. 86,705, for constructing a jute godown at Ruth Ghât having been submitted by the Port Commissioners for making Improvements in the Port of Calcutta with their Vice-Chairman’s letter No. 508, of the 10th May 1877, the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to sanction the execution of the work under the provisions of Section 35 of Act V (B.C.) of 1870. The 19th July 1877.-The following amended declaration is published in supersession of that which anpeared at page 767, Part I of the Caleutta Gazette of the 4th July 1877 – Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz. for extension of Roy Bagau Street, in the Town of Calcutta, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land measuring, more or less, 1 cottah 12 chittacks, bounded on the north by a public draiu; on the south partly by Itoy Bagan Street and partly by No. 72, Cornwallis’ Street, belonging to Baboo Tarriuey Churn Bose ; on the east and west by No. 73, Cornwallis’ Street, belonging to Rajah Raj Narain Roy, is required within the aforesaid Town of Calcutta. Mackenzie is removed from the list of Honorary Magistrates in Shahabad. w The 17th July 1877.—Baboo Kedaressur Roy, Subordinate Judge, Jessore, is allowed leave for two months and twenty-nine days, under the rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code. ". * - Baboo Jeebuu Kristo Chatterjee, Moonsif of Nemal, Midnapore, is . appointed to act as Subordinate Judge, Jessore, during the absence, on leave, of Baboo Kedaressur Roy, or until further orders. Baboo Juggodiswur Goopt, B.L., is appointed to officiate as Moonsif of Nemal, during the absence, on duty, of Baboo Jeebun Kristo Chatterjee, or until further orders.
