Mackenzie, Officiating Secretary to the. Government of Bengal in the General and Revenue Departments, is appointed to be Secretary to the Government of Bengal in the Financial Department. The 5th October 1877–Baboo Nobin Chunder Sen, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Xollector, Pooree, is allowed leave for four months, under Section 3, Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from the 18th August last. Baboo Nobin Chunder Sen was also on leave on medical certificate from the 14th June to the 3rd July 1877. i l The Reverend J. Robinson, Bengali Translator to Government, is allowed leave from the 9th to the 26th October 1877, under the rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code. The 11th October 1877.—The Right Hon'ble the Secretary of State for India has been pleased to grant an extension of furlough for three months to Mr. L. R. SựChtton,.Junior Secretary to the Government of Beຕໍ່. ຫກ furlough, is appointed to be a “Magistrate and Collector of the Third Grade, vită efect from the 2nd instant. م" Mr. H. Lee, Officiating Joint-Magistrate and Deputy Collector, Second Grade, 24-Pergunnahs, is appointed to act in the First Grade of Joint-Magistrates and Deputy Collectors, vice Mr. F. H. B. Skrine, on deputation to Madras. Mr. J. Kennedy, Assistant Magistrate and Collector, Magoora, in Jessore, is appointed to act in the Second Grade of Joint-Magistrates and Deputy Collectors, vice Mr. H. Lee. мr, Т. E. Ravenshaw, Officiating Member of the Board of Revenue, is allowed leave for one month and one day, under the Rules in Chapter VII of the Civil Leave Code, with effect from such date as he may be relieved of his present officiating appointment. Police.—The 11th October 1877–The special leave for six months granted to Mr. W. P. Davis, District Superintendent of Policé, Hazareebagh, under orders of the 3rd April 1877, is commuted by the Right Hou’ble the Secretary of State for India to seven months’ furlough. o MEpical—The 10th October 1877.--Dr. W. Forsyth, Civil Modical Officer, Dinagepore, was on privilege leave from the 22nd to the 31st August last, both days inclusive. The 11th October 1877.-Rai Kannai Lal Dey, Bahadoor, Teacher of Chemistry, Campbell Medical School, is appointed to act as Professor of Chemistry, Calcutta Medical College, and Chemical loxaminer to Government, during the absence, on leave, of Mr. C. H. Wood, or until further orders. 蟒 Third Grade Assistant Surgeon Chunder Nath Bisyas, attached to the Sub-Division and Dispensary at Cutwa, in Burdwan, is allowed leave for three months, under Section 8 Supplement F of the Civil Leave Code. 3 Second Grade Assistant Surgeon Neem Chand Goopta, a Supernumerary at the Presidency, is appointed to have Medical charge of the Sub-Division and Dispensary at Cutwa, in Burdwan, during the absence, on leave, of Assistant Surgeon Chunder Nath Biswas, or until further orders. g The 18th October 1877.-Surgeon, D.
