The 26th October 1877.—Whereas it appears to the Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal that land is required to be taken by Government at the public expense for a public purpose, viz, for a Rifle Range for the Calcutta Volunteers and 驚 a road leading to it, in the village of Belgharia, pergunnah Calcutta, district 24-Pergunnahs, it is hereby declared that for the above purpose a piece of land 1,000 yards in length and 47 yards in breadth, more or less, running in a southerly direction from Government purchased land to Nabin Mukherjya's land, and another piece 345 feet in length and 10 feet in breadth, more or less, running in a westerly direction from the above plot to the village road on the west, are required within the aforesaid village of Belgharia.
