The 21st October 1877.-In supersession of the notification dated the 4th September 1877, published at page 1195 of the Calcutta Gazette of the 5th idem, the LieutenantGovernor is pleased to sanction the following alterations in the local jurisdictions of thanas in the district of Chittagong with effect from the 1st October 1877:— 1. The outposts of Seetakund and Kootubdia, which are at present independent, are made subordinate to thanas Kumira and Mascal respectively. 2. The police-station of Ookhia has been removed to Teknaff, and Ookhia converted into an outpost. The Ookhia outpost shall be subordinate to thana Teknaff. 3. The outpost of Bankshalee shall be treated and designated as thana Bankshalee, and the outposts of Juldee, Anwarah, and Bakree shall remain subordinate to Bankshalee. ኴ HoRAce A. Сосквквы, Offy.
